Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:00 p.m.
 
1. Motion by Rasmussen/M.B. Drenth to accept the May 2012 regular meeting
minutes as presented. CARRIED 7-0
Public Input:
a. Duane Arnott: Archery Director. The Archery Program is up and running; he
will do a demonstration at Ellebration July 7.
DEPARTMENTAL:
A. Police: Chief Morris will try to have the new police car ready by July 7 for the
Ellebration. The old car to be sold as is.
B. Streets
C. DPW: Time for water tank inspection.
COMMITTEES:
A. Planning Commission: n/a
B. Parks and Recreation: The Wooden Shoe Park had a good Memorial Day
weekend.
ACTION ITEMS:
2. Motion by Rasmussen /Boss to summit delinquent water bills to the county to be
placed as liens on the summer tax bills. CARRIED Yes: 7 No:0
3. Motion by Nickel/Boss to donate $1,000.00 to St. Claire Lake Fire Works as
budgeted in the 2012-2013 budget.
Carried 7-0 The fireworks will be held on July 7th on Lake Sinclair starting at dusk.
4. Motion by Campbell/Drenth to have the toilets in the bathhouse replaced at a
cost of $1650 by Drenth Plumbing and
Heating. Carried 7-0
5. Motion by Boss/Stewart to approve the budget amendments as presented.

RECREATION FUND:
Decrease Contribution/Village (208-000-58100)) $2000 from $2000 to $0.Increase Transfers in (208)-000-69910) $2000 from $0 to $2000.
Increase Contracted Services (208-95511) $1400 from $0 to $1400
GENERAL FUND:
Decrease Parks & Recreation/Contracted Services (751-80220) $1400 from $4000
to $2600
Increase Parks & Recreation Capital Outlay (751-97000) $1400 from $500 to $1900
Increase Transfers to Recreation Fund (965-99910) $2000 from $0 to $2000.
6. Motion by Campbell/Nickel to approve form L4029 for 2012 setting the millage
rate at 12.3 mills. CARRIED 7-0
7. Motion by Vollmer/Rasmussen to approve resolution 06112012 for renewing
the administration fee of 1% of the total
tax bill for 2012 property taxes. CARRIED 7-0
8. Motion by Rasmussen/Drenth to approve the Resolution for AACH and
ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS.
CARRIED 7-0
9. Motion by Rasmussen/Stewart to accept the bid of Dixon Engineering and
Inspection Services of $2000 for an
ROV inspection of the water tank so it can stay in service. CARRIED 7-0
DISCUSSED:
A. Discussed moving the business loop sign at Main and Church St as it is
blocking the view of oncoming
Traffic and expanding the Breezeway Loop signs for additional businesses.
B. The completion of the concession stand at the Sports Park by Randy and
Cindy Ruis. Randy and Cindy furnished the labor, time, and materials
C. Farmers Market starts Tuesday, June 12 from 5-7 pm; live music scheduled
for the month of July
D. Campbell updated Council on the Breezeway Cruise friday June 22
starting at Boyne Mt. and cruising the Breezeway (C48) through East
Jordan, Ellsworth, and Atwood to Royal Farms Market.
E. The planting of the flowers in the village by Ellsworth students
10. Motion by Boss/Vollmer to pay the bills as presented. CARRIED 7-0
11. Motion by Vollmer/Nickel to adjourn. 8:30 pm
